Terms of Use
Effective July 25, 2026 Last updated July 27, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and YUKIKO SAWADA (“we”, “us”) about your use of the ZELUNA app and the content in it. By downloading or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. The service
ZELUNA provides guided meditations, sleep stories, yoga and breathing sessions, and relaxing sounds, delivered as audio and video inside the app. Playing content requires an active subscription. We add, change, and retire content over time, so the catalogue available to you may differ from the catalogue when you subscribed.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use ZELUNA. You sign in with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple Account secure, and for activity that takes place through your account. How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time.
3. Subscriptions and free trial
Premium access is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through your Apple Account. The current price, billing period, and any free trial are shown in the app before you confirm the purchase, and they may vary by region and over time.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- If you are offered a free trial, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription covering the same period.
- You can view and manage your subscription in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on your device.
If we change the price of an existing subscription, Apple will notify you and, where required, ask you to agree before the new price applies.
4. Cancellation and refunds
Cancel at any time in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app or your ZELUNA account does not cancel the subscription.
Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing here limits any statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation you have under consumer law in your country.
5. Your licence to the content
The app and its content are licensed, not sold. Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to stream and use the content for your own non-commercial use. All audio, video, text, artwork, and trade marks remain our property or that of our licensors.
You may not:
- copy, download, record, or redistribute the content outside the app;
- play the content publicly or in a commercial setting, including classes, studios, clinics, or events;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or media files of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, to access it by automated means, to circumvent payment or access controls, or to share your account so that others can use paid content without paying for it.
7. Health and wellbeing notice
ZELUNA is a wellness app, not a medical device or a medical service. The content is provided for relaxation and general wellbeing. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. We make no claim that it treats, cures, or prevents insomnia or any other condition.
Consult a doctor before starting any yoga, breathing, or relaxation practice if you are pregnant, have a heart, respiratory, blood pressure, or musculoskeletal condition, have a history of anxiety, panic attacks, epilepsy, or a psychiatric condition, or are recovering from injury or surgery. Stop immediately if you feel dizzy, short of breath, faint, or in pain, and seek medical help. Do not use the app while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything else that requires your attention. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency service.
You take part in any practice in the app at your own risk.
8. Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that content will always be available. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable law, and nothing limits your rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice and, where required, provide a pro-rated refund through Apple.
11. Apple as a third party
These terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. The Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement also applies to your use of the app; where it conflicts with these terms on a point it covers, Apple’s agreement prevails.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. We will update the “Last updated” date, and for material changes we will give notice in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, or of the right to bring proceedings there.
